All Benelli semi-autos are powered by the proven Inertia Driven operating system. With no parts in the stock or straddling the magazine tube, the gun balances squarely between the hands. In my opinion, the In-Line system is also slightly softer shooting than the standard Inertia Driven system, especially with high-velocity magnums. My Super Vinci, also in Max-4, has a standard inch barrel, but a inch barrel and other finishes are available.
A green one was installed, but seven light pipe options are included — two green, two white, and three red. The Super Vinci has a red bar front sight. Both guns have steel mid-beads. My Super Vinci came with the factory set of five flush-mount chokes, but I also had on hand a set of Triple Threat tubes for it.
Regarding takedown, either for transport or cleaning, the modular Super Vinci is the clear winner. As for other amenities, each model comes with a hard case. Both guns also have shim kits for adjusting drop and cast.
I installed the lowest, right cast shim on my Super Vinci for proper alignment. Still, that front-mounted safety bugs me, which is probably why I shot the SBE II, with its properly placed safety again, my opinion , better. Ultimately, it boils down to a matter of personal preference. Both are tough, dependable, workhorse semi-auto scatterguns.

Replies 5. Options Top. Once you try the vinci, you won't go back to the SBE. It's lighter, the recoil action is neglibable compared to the SBE. Just make sure it fits you well. The best gun in the world isn't the best for you if it doesn't fit you well. Replies 0. Replies 2. I'm going to shoulder them and see if I feel different towards one or the other. Just wondering, mechanically, if there is anything special about the SV?
What was the point in making it? Why did they come out with a new gun? Replies 1. It is super easy to take down three pieces and assemble takes seconds. These were the selling points of the Vinci. The super Vinci gave it a 3. SBE for me. Shot both. Vinci was a little too bulky IMO. Wont go wtong with either On a side note, ive got 2 buddies with really big fingers, the Vinci busted their fingers up. Might consider that. If its mainly for Duck hunting don't buy either.
Browning Maxus and the Berretta A Extrema are the tops. Every guide worth his salt will tell you this. Replies 4. Don't really duck hunt. It's pretty much just a general purpose gun. Doves, Turkey, Squirrel, Rabbit and skeet. I don't like the bulkiness of the Berettas. Then save some money if its an all purpose gun then look into the Stoeger M made by Benilli.
Inertia driven as well just in forearm instead of stock. Nope Nope Nope. I had the Franchi I It gave me problems and Benelli gave me my money back after not being able to fix it.
I won't go cheaper and get the Stoeger.
