Just dont let nostalgia let you think they are harder then they actually are. What people really hate about this place are the wyrms they explode on death , the Stalkers that gouge turn your butt to them , and the caster mobs going completely uncontrolled. Just kill it. Blood Furnace has two bad spots, the engineers and their stupid mines, and those fel guards right before the end.
Everything else is pretty standard stuff but people remember the wipes, not the cleared stuff. Folks are more likely to wipe on the PvP-lite boss than Kael. Arcatraz is definitely the hardest to learn since every pull is unique or every room is a new set of trash and is very healer intensive. Basically every heroic has its own wipe causing Hazzard. Were they as hard as Throne of Tides Heroic in 4. Can you show me where Blizzard has confirmed any such thing? No, right? You are assuming. It has ALL been done before.
People already know what to do. Zone: Shattrath, Terrokar Forest, Outland. Best ways to reach Honored is doing the Auchenai Crypts dungeon and turning in Arakkoa feathers — More Feathers quest can be done multiple times. They give a pretty decent amount of reputation and it won't take you too long to reach Revered.
You don't even need to hit level 70 to do that — Sethekk Halls is doable starting level Faction: Keepers of Time. Zone: Caverns of Time, Tanaris, Kalimdor. At least one faction has it pretty straightforward in TBC: you can just spam the dungeons till you're Revered. Do Old Hillsbrad and Black Morass as many times as it takes to hit the required rep.
The only problem is that those 2 dungeons are pretty far from Outland and you might not be always able to find a party for them. Dungeons: Botanica, Mechanar, and Arcatraz. Faction: The Sha'tar. Unfortunately, the Sha'tar have few quests to offer. So you'll have to rely on dungeons: Botanica, Mechanar, and Arcatraz.
They all are rather difficult even in the Normal mode and Arcatraz also has a lengthy attunement. The good news is that you will also earn the Sha'tar reputation while doing Scryers or Aldor's quests, including the repeating ones.
The bad news is that you stop getting rep from these activities as soon as you reach out of Friendly reputation points. Unlocking Heroic mode even for one of these dungeon groups is not going to be easy or fast. So either embrace it or consider getting some help! It was just about "put these marks, CC them, rinse and repeat, I hope you have a mage and rogue in your party.
Oh, and good luck finding a tank". Very tedious experience. This is what "heroic dungeon" meant before they were made into a version of Normal in MoP Hate to break it to you, but heroics were a joke by Wrath and have been ever since.
Wrong, cata heroics was pretty much BC-like, but then everyone quickly overgeared them. WotLK, everyone got free epics, no thanks. Well, Blizzard also massively nerfed the Cata dungeons because everyone whined too much as they were used to WotLK dungeons that were just an AoE party and no need for CC. Nop, it was totally fully hardcore just like I remember! Magisters terrace was hard back then.
I remember how everyone was -begging- for paladin tanks due to consecrate. So many classes got ignored for the dungeon because they did not have any cc for the third boss encounter with loads of adds. But yeah, needing reps and keys for heroics This topic was automatically closed 60 days after the last reply.
New replies are no longer allowed. Anyone who did TBC the first time around. How does the dungeon content compare to classic?
Melee will have fun being cleaved all the time. Spellcleave groups are popular for a reason, melee get cleaved to all hell LOL.
