All it took was a live stream from WWE. The tag team action served as a good dark match and airing it via live stream made it that much better. The pay-per-view event consisted of three championship matches, a battle for managerial power, the end of an era, a fight for "best in the world" and generations finally colliding. However, it was the undercard that may have hurt this "Grandaddy of 'em all.
Yes, the Royal Rumble winner kicked off the show in one of the shortest matches in all of WrestleMania's 28 years of existence. With the main event being contested by two of the biggest WWE Superstars ever to step foot in a WWE ring, it should come as no surprise that the Royal Rumble winner wouldn't get his main event match as granted.
The real surprise came during the championship bout. The man who once defeated the World's Strongest Man and the World's Largest Athlete in the same night just lost in 18 seconds. Many speculated that this one match could steal the show if given the chance.
Watching those 18 seconds left everyone in disbelief of what just happened. Daniel Bryan lost in 18 seconds? Surely, he'll get a rematch later in the night That's where part of WrestleMania was a letdown. Many within the Internet Wrestling Community highly anticipated some quality wrestling between these two young stars and were robbed. Next in the night was Kane vs. Randy Orton. With it being the grandest stage of them all and Orton's birthday, lots of people expected Kane to roll over on this one.

Matches that get placed onto the pre-shows of WWE PPVs are typically given plenty of time to at least create an exciting match.
However, this was given just over five minutes and it felt like a total sprint because of it. With three teams involved there had to be plenty of quick tags to get everyone a moment, and overall this one just felt like it was far too rushed. The Intercontinental Championship might be seen as the workhorse title, but that wasn't the case with this match, which only got five minutes to work with.
